On July 6th, the night sky seemed especially bright and intriguing to Aiden. He decided to walk down to the river and stargaze in solitude on such a beautiful night. He contemplated many things, but most frequent on his mind was the thought of finding himself true love - a bright, friendly , humorous woman whom he could travel the world with.
Aiden's mind was elsewhere as a faint humming noise drew closer. Just as Aiden had regained full consciousness of his surroundings and realized that it was time to head for home, the humming noise caught Aiden's attention. It seemed extremely loud; almost as if the source was directly above Aiden - but the sky was clear tonight and Aiden could see nothing above him except for sky and stars. Too tired to investigate the source of his curiosity further, Aiden dismissed the strange sound and continued to walk home.
A few minutes later, a very sudden bright blue light shone directly down on Aiden. The light stunned Aiden and seemed to cast him into a lethargic trance - he longed to run for home but he could not move! Little did Aiden know that he had been abducted by aliens!

The following morning, Aiden was awoken by the buzzing of a bumble bee which had come to gather pollen from the daisies and daffodils nearby. He groaned and clutched his aching head... what had he been up to last night? The last thing he remembered was gazing at the stars in that wondrous night sky. Aiden headed home, passing off his loss of memory as the result of having a beer too many last night. He sat down on the sofa in the living room to watch the football. Later on, Aiden could feel a burning sensation in the pit of his stomach. Nothing like he had ever felt before.
